This week has been a crazy one, but I thought you might like to see a couple of shots of how my garden is growing! I went to the farmer’s market in town this afternoon, which I just love, and while I’m not there yet, I’m SO looking forward to eating some fruits and veggies from my very own garden!

These are awesome! I’m really interested to hear about your cantaloupe — might try that next year.
I just picked up some seeds at Lowes last year, and planted them inside in little peat pots in May. You’ve got to let them adjust to the outdoors for a few days in the shade before planting them in the ground, but I did it right before I was away for a few days, and pretty much all my seedlings died! I saved this, and two other mysterious ones that I can’t identify. It was just a tiny little plant when I stuck it in with the big tomatoes and peppers that I’d gotten as plants from Home Depot, and with just some water, it’s growing like crazy! It also gets full sun where it is in the raised bed, which I think helps.
